Years later, after I married my husband, Ruben, my connection to photography deepened even more. We’ve been on our own journey toward building a family, and while it hasn’t been the straight path I once imagined, it’s made me cherish the beauty of what we have in each season. Another favorite photo of mine is from our mini engagement session. My hair’s a little messy, we’re laughing, and my eyes still showed signs of tears.
